Her Mother is Mary Cain (a noted potter) and her Grandmother is Christina Naranjo. Her Great-grandmother is Sara Fina Tafoya (a foundational figure in Santa Clara pottery) and Sisters are Tina Diaz, Joy Cain, and Margie Tannin (also potters).
