She comes from a prominent pottery family and is known for high-quality traditional and innovative Pueblo pottery, particularly burnished blackware and redware with deep carving, polished finishes, micaceous slips, and designs like avanyu (water serpent), feathers, geometric patterns, melon ribs, bear paws, and more.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eLinda Tafoya is the granddaughter of Margaret Tafoya and daughter of Betty and Lee Tafoya. Linda Tafoya is a potter from Santa Clara Pueblo., with work appearing in markets in 1974.
