He came from a family of kachina (katsina) doll makers, with brothers Leon and Eugene Dallas also known for their carving. Reginald was largely self-taught and self-employed, producing detailed hand-carved cottonwood root figures that gained recognition in the Southwest and appeared in publications. His work is typically signed on the base and often dates from the late 20th to early 21st century. He passed away in 2011. \u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"Antique American Indian Art","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":47719570735269,"sku":"250823-104","price":440.0,"currency_code":"USD","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0718\/6071\/5685\/files\/250823-104_1.jpg?v=1776289954","url":"https:\/\/antiqueamericanindianart.com\/products\/hopi-pueblo-double-helleya-hopi-clown-kachina-doll-by-reginald-dallas","provider":"Antique American Indian Art","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
