Born in 1963, she is a third-generation artist who specializes in hand-coiled polychrome Storyteller figurines (often called \"Storyteller dolls\" in pottery form). \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eShe learned the craft from her grandmother, Andrea Tsosie, and began making pottery around age 7 with help from her parents. She became a full-time potter after high school and has been active since around 1971. Her mother is Irene Herrera, and she has siblings including Leonard Tsosie and Rebecca Tsosie.
