She began producing around 1970 and specialized in kachinas (katsinas) and Gan (Apache Mountain Spirit/Crown) dancers. Her work typically uses materials such as turquoise, coral, jet, mother-of-pearl, and shell set in silver, often hallmarked “VL” or “V. Luna.” She was related to other Luna family artists (grand-niece of Latalio Luna and connected to Isia Luna, Belle Luna, and others) and is regarded as one of the strong Zuni inlay artists of her era.
