A frog fetish carved in rainbow fluorite with a shell & turquoise bundle and turquoise eyes by Peter and Dinah Gasper. No signature on base, attribution only. Peter Gasper (deceased, born 1938-) and Dinah Gasper (1944-) are said to have been the first Zuni fetish carvers to inlay fetishes with heartlines. Peter and Dinah carved primarily water animals, such as frogs, turtles, fish, etc. The Gaspers are known to have carved a wide range of creatures and have won many prestigious awards.
