A Navajo Yei Bei Chei Kachina Doll (also spelled Yei Bi Chei or Yeibichai) is a traditional ceremonial representation made by Navajo artisans, inspired by the sacred Yei Bi Chei healing ceremony, one of the most important Nightway (Tłʼééchąąʼí) chants in Navajo religion. Yei Bi Chei is the maternal grandfather of the Yeis, led by the Talking God (Haashchʼęęłtiʼí) and other deities who appear in the public portion of the 9-day Nightway healing ceremony.
