Clouds, native symbol of rain, prosperity, crops and good fortune are positioned in a abstract ancient Sikyátki -style bird body, tail feathers or wings to the left, and birds eye to the right; the short line under the cloud might symbolize the rainbow, and below that is a dance wand which is carried by the Hopi Kachina's during their dance.

Early Hopi overlay is exceptionally hard to find. This is a great piece of art and a fine collectible.

Excellent Condition

Will this bracelet fit my wrist?

Generally speaking, if you desire a...
Snug fit: The bracelet's total length should be 1/4 to 1/2" longer than your wrist's circumference.
Comfortable-to-loose fit: The bracelet's total length should be 1/2" to 1" longer than your wrist's circumference.
Very loose fit: The bracelet's total length should be 1" or more longer than your wrist's circumference. Make sure that the gap is not wider than the narrow width of your wrist or it will fall off easily!

Hopi overlay is a distinctive silversmithing technique developed in the 1940s, featuring two sterling silver layers. The top layer has a hand-cut design, which is soldered onto a bottom layer that is textured and oxidized (blackened) for contrast. The style highlights intricate, traditional symbols with a high-polished top and dark, recessed background.
