Susan “Snowflake” Romero (Pho-Sa-We, 1955–2026) was a Santa Clara Pueblo potter known for her intricate miniature sgraffito (etched) seed pots. She was the daughter of renowned Santa Clara potter Joseph Lonewolf (and related to other potters like Gregory Lonewolf and Rosemary Lonewolf). She learned the traditional hand-coiling and etching techniques from her father and began producing pottery around 1972. She often signed her work with her Tewa name, Pho-Sa-We (meaning Snowflake), sometimes alongside a snowflake cipher or other marks.
