Agnes Peynetsa is a respected Zuni Pueblo potter (born around 1962) known for her hand-coiled polychrome pottery, especially smaller pieces featuring frog and lizard motifs.

She belongs to a pottery-making family: daughter of Charles and Wilma Peynetsa, sister to noted potters Anderson Peynetsa and Priscilla Peynetsa, and wife of Berdel Soseech (with whom she sometimes collaborates).

She began making pottery around 1984, learning from Jennie Laate (an Acoma potter who taught at Zuni) as well as family members. She prefers white clay but works with various traditional slips and pit-firing techniques.

Her work commonly includes jars, seed pots, cornmeal bowls, effigy pieces (frogs/lizards), canteens, miniatures, and jewelry. Frogs and lizards are frequent motifs, as they hold cultural importance in Zuni traditions (often linked to water, fertility, and rain).
