The end of this rug was reduced as pictured. The rug was cleaned, and a cloth strip was professionally hand sewn to the reduced end to secure it.  

A Teec Nos Pos Navajo rug is a famously intricate and detailed handwoven textile originating from a Navajo community in northeastern Arizona near the Four Corners region, recognized for its complex geometric patterns influenced by Persian rug designs  Wide borders and outlined large geometric designs are hallmarks of the TNP patterns.
