Hopi Katsinam are immortal spirit beings that act as messengers between humans and the spirit world. They bring rain, control natural forces, and teach moral and societal lessons. Men in the community impersonate these spirits during ceremonies (often from December through July), wearing elaborate masks, costumes, and regalia.
