The Hemis Kachina (also called Hemis Katsina or Home Dancer) originates from Hopi tradition. It is one of the most iconic and elaborate katsinas, often representing abundance, a successful harvest, joy, and the bringing of rain. It appears prominently in the Hopi Niman (Home) Dance, the ceremony marking the katsinas' return to their spiritual homes at the end of the ceremonial season.

Due to the fragile nature of kachina dolls, we do not guarantee they will not break during shipping. We do our best to pack them well, but due to their fragile nature and even with the best packing, small pieces can break. If you are purchasing kachina dolls, please keep this in mind.
