The Warrior Mouse is a hero to the Hopi of Second Mesa for having rid the people of a troublesome chickenhawk they had been unable to eliminate from the Mesa. The Mouse Warrior tricked the chickenhawk into impaling itself on a stake and thus became a hero to the people.
