B. Yazzie is a Navajo artisan active in producing various Kachina-style dolls (including Eagle, Long Hair, Mudhead, and others like Sun Face/Tawa), with pieces appearing in vintage and antique markets. Navajo-made Kachinas are often more commercial or decorative compared to traditional Hopi ceremonial ones, but they carry cultural significance and are popular collectibles.

The Eagle Katsina symbolizes strength, vision, power, and a connection to the sky; it often serves as a protector or carrier of prayers, and eagle imagery is revered for its association with freedom and spiritual elevation.

Due to the fragile nature of kachina dolls, we do not guarantee they will not break during shipping. We do our best to pack them well, but due to their fragile nature and even with the best packing, small pieces can break. If you are purchasing kachina dolls, please keep this in mind.
