In Navajo (Diné) tradition, the Wolf Kachina (often called Maii or Ma’i) symbolizes Protection, strength, wisdom, Loyalty and survival skills (as wolves are seen as intelligent guardians of the pack). Guidance in hunting, bringing good fortune, and warding off evil.
