Artist R. Grey is a Native American carver who has produced various kachina figures.

The Hemis Kachina (also known as Hemis Katsina or Sio Hemis) is one of the most impressive and recognizable figures in Hopi Pueblo tradition. It represents a powerful rain-bringing spirit from the Zuni (Sio) influence, often appearing during the Niman (Home-Going) ceremony in late July or August, marking the end of the kachina season when kachinas return to their spiritual homes.
