Hand Coiled Very Fine Antique Polychrome Bowl Sikyatki Revival with Painted Geometric Design
In Very Good Condition with Surface Wear as Pictured
Hopi Pueblo polychrome pottery in the Sikyatki Revival style is a distinctive tradition of handmade ceramic bowls (and other vessels) created by Hopi artists, primarily on First Mesa in Arizona. This style draws direct inspiration from ancient ancestral Hopi (Sikyatki Polychrome) pottery produced roughly between 1375–1625 CE at the abandoned village of Sikyatki.
