Navajo / Zuni Sterling Silver w- Inlaid Turquoise and Heishi Cuff Bracelet ca. 1970 5" + 1"gap x 1"width A bit on the smaller size, during the 1960s to early 1970s Navajo and the Zuni tribes began experimenting with the channel inlay and the heishi. Sometimes there was collaboration, with the Navajo doing the silver and the Zuni cutting materials and doing the settings. There was not a lot of this work, and when we find it, we view it as a special item. This is a particularly handsome work. Private Estate Collection.
