An Athabascan Alaskan Native American basket is a traditional coiled or twined baskets made by the Athabascan (or Athapaskan) peoples of Interior Alaska. The eleven Athabascan groups in Alaska include the Ahtna, Tanana, Holikachuk, Dena’ina, Ingalik (Deg Hit’an), Koyukon, Upper Kuskokwim, Tanacross, Upper Tanana, Han, and Gwich’in.
