Vintage Hopi Pueblo Kachina dolls are traditional wooden figures carved primarily by the Hopi people of northeastern Arizona. These are deeply rooted in Hopi spirituality and culture.

Hopi Kachina dolls, known as tihu or katsintithu in the Hopi language, represent katsinam—supernatural spirits or deities that embody natural forces (like rain, crops, animals, or ancestors). These spirits are believed to visit Hopi villages from roughly the winter solstice to mid-July, bringing rain, fertility, and harmony through ceremonial dances.

Due to the fragile nature of kachina dolls, we do not guarantee they will not break during shipping. We do our best to pack them well, but due to their fragile nature and even with the best packing, small pieces can break. If you are purchasing kachina dolls, please keep this in mind. v
