Isadore Abeita was a respected Hopi artist known for his detailed, collectible katsina carvings, often signed simply "Abeita." His works appear in galleries, books (e.g., featured early in Hopi Kachinas by Greg Schaaf), and sales platforms.

Sio Shalako is a Hopi katsina inspired by or adapted from the Zuni Shalako ceremony and figure. The Shalako (meaning "rain bringer" or similar) is a powerful spirit messenger associated with bringing moisture, rain, and blessings for crops and fertility.

Due to the fragile nature of kachina dolls, we do not guarantee they will not break during shipping. We do our best to pack them well, but due to their fragile nature and even with the best packing, small pieces can break. If you are purchasing kachina dolls, please keep this in mind.
