Yolanda Velarde (also known as Yolanda Velarde Moquino) is a contemporary Santa Clara Pueblo potter born in January 1961. She is known for traditional hand-coiled blackware (black-on-black) pottery, often featuring carved or incised designs such as avanyu (water serpent), feathers, geometric patterns, and other classic Pueblo motifs.
