Herbert Hustito carves realistic Zuni fetishes, including intricately designed eagles from antler. Herbert also makes other unusual carvings, including scorpians from antler as well as bats from picasso marble, serpentine, and black marble. Herbert was influenced in his carving abilities by accomplished fetish carver, Dan Quam. Herbert is married to Zuni carver, Elfina Lowsayatee, and is Jonathan Natewa's uncle. Herbert's son, Justin, also carves Zuni fetishes. Herbert passed away recently July 2018.
