Excellent Condition
Frank Poolheco, a Hopi-Tewa artist of the Spider Clan from Tewa Village, created a notable wooden egg-shaped kachina around the 1980s to 2000s. This piece, signed "Hak-to" and "F. Poolheco" with "Hopi-Tewa" on the bottom, measures approximately 1.5 inches long, 1.5 inches wide, and 3 inches tall, including its wooden stand. The kachina is painted with a face and body on one side and pottery patterns with a rain cloud on the other, reflecting traditional Hopi-Tewa iconography. Both of Frank’s parents were artists, and this piece is a collectible representation of Hopi-Tewa cultural artistry.
