Sylvia Naranjo (1944–2006) was a Santa Clara Pueblo potter known for her miniature blackware pottery, including small jars and pots. She created small blackware items (often highly polished or with matte elements), including miniature jars, bowls, seed pots, and shaped pieces like turtles. Designs can include carving (e.g., Avanyu) or geometric/step patterns. Pieces are typically signed "Sylvia Naranjo" or with her name and "Santa Clara Pueblo." She was part of the extended Naranjo family of Santa Clara potters (related through lines like Celestina Naranjo). The Naranjo/Tafoya families have a deep multi-generational legacy in Pueblo pottery.
