Ephran is the son of Herbert Him and was taught to carve by his father. He, in turn, has taught many of his cousins to carve as well. We have always admired the generous way that one generation teaches the next. Not only is it an important skill for generating income, it's a necessary skill for perpetuating the spirit and beliefs of the Shiwi people.
