They often feature different designs on each side—such as floral motifs (roses, tulips, or other flowers), clouds, geometric patterns, or occasionally animals like elk. The beadwork uses vibrant colors and seed beads in lane stitch or similar techniques common to Plateau tribes. They usually include hide or beaded handles/straps and sometimes fringe for decoration.
