Manuel Kooyahoema (1939–2007) was a respected Hopi Pueblo artist known for his finely carved and painted kachina (katsina) dolls made from cottonwood root. He was active from the mid-20th century onward, with works dating from the 1960s through the 1990s (and possibly later), often signed "M.L. Kooyahoema" or similar variations. His pieces are collected and appear in museum collections, auctions, and galleries, including the National Museum of the American Indian.

Eototo and Aholi are important ceremonial figures in Hopi tradition, often appearing together during the Powamuya (Bean Dance) ceremony in late winter/early spring. They symbolize leadership and agricultural blessings.

Eototo is considered a major deity (wuya) and chief kachina, representing the spiritual leader or "father" figure. He is typically depicted in a simpler, predominantly white costume with a mask, carrying cornmeal (symbolizing offerings and fertility) and associated with purity, guidance, and the promise of a good harvest.

Aholi (also spelled Ahola or similar) serves as Eototo's lieutenant or companion. He is more elaborately dressed, often with a tall conical helmet/mask (frequently turquoise/blue), a staff, colorful robes with geometric patterns, feathers, and fur elements. Aholi is a warrior-like or chiefly figure who assists in ceremonies, planting prayer sticks, and ensuring prosperity.
