Unlike authentic Hopi Katsinam, which hold deep spiritual significance as representations of immortal beings that bring rain, fertility, and harmony with nature, Navajo versions are primarily artistic and commercial crafts. They lack religious meaning in Navajo tradition but showcase the Navajo's unique aesthetic flair, often featuring vibrant colors, beads, feathers, and elaborate decorations.
