Vintage Apache beaded coin purses are beautiful examples of Native American beadwork, particularly from the Apache people (including groups like the Mescalero or Jicarilla Apache) in the Southwestern United States.  These small purses or pouches often feature intricate g;ass seed beadwork on leather (like deerskin or buckskin), with geometric designs, thunderbirds, florals, or motifs like diamonds, crosses, and colorful patterns.
