D. Sabaquie (active 1980s, Jemez Pueblo) was a notable potter known for hand-coiled, hand-painted pottery using natural clay and pigments from Jemez tribal lands.

Deborah Seonia Loretto, born in April 1956, is a traditional potter from Jemez Pueblo, New Mexico. She specializes in handcrafted pottery, particularly Santa Claus storyteller figures, using both coil and pinch methods. Loretto learned traditional techniques from her family and has passed these skills to her daughter, Danielle, who also creates storytellers. Her work, often featuring vibrant polychrome designs, reflects Jemez cultural influences and is sold through galleries and online platforms.
