A Yakima Beaded Fine Dress (often spelled Yakama today) is a traditional women's dresses from the Yakama (or Yakima) people, a Native American tribe from the Plateau region in present-day Washington State.
These are historically significant garments, typically made from native-tanned hides (such as deer, mountain sheep, or buckskin) and elaborately decorated with intricate beadwork using glass seed beads or pony beads.
