Marie Sisneros is a contemporary potter from Jemez Pueblo, New Mexico, known for her traditional and innovative pottery. Jemez Pueblo is located in the Rio Grande Valley. She is part of a community with a long history of pottery-making, though Jemez pottery nearly vanished in the early 20th century before being revived by artists like Mary E. Toya and Marie Sisneros.
