Annie Fields (1884–1971) was a renowned Mojave potter and a member of the Colorado River Indian Tribes, living near Needles, California.  She was one of the last active Mojave potters, creating most of her work in the 1950s and 1960s. Her pottery is celebrated for its intricate effigy vessels, including figurines of people, animals, and children in cradleboards, often adorned with beaded collars, neck bands, and glass beads. She used native clay and slips, pit-fired her pieces, and signed some works in ink.  Her work is rare and highly collectible, partly due to the extensive collection of Rick Dillingham, a noted Santa Fe collector who donated many of her pieces to the School for Advanced Research in Santa Fe. Her contributions helped preserve Mojave ceramic traditions during a time when only a few potters remained active.
