She has lived on the ACOMA PUEBLO all of her life and learned the art of creating traditional pottery from her grandmother. The exceptional quality of the workmanship and the attention to detail makes this piece by BEVERLY GARCIA highly desirable.

Beverly Davis Garcia, born January 14, 1955, to Florence and Fred Waconda, is an Acoma Pueblo potter who began her career in 1962. Known for her hand-coiled pots, jars, and bowls, she creates intricate designs on vessels made from the slate-like clay found in the hills surrounding Acoma Pueblo.
