Austin Komalestewa Sr. (sometimes listed with dates around 1916–1987 in family contexts) was a Hopi carver from the Hopi Pueblo in Arizona. He belonged to a family with artistic traditions—related through marriage or kinship to other known Hopi artists like members of the Shupla and Komalestewa lines (e.g., Emily Shupla Komalestewa). His work appears in collections and sales of authentic Hopi katsina dolls, often signed on the base with his name or initials.
