Historic Santo Domingo (Kewa) Pueblo pottery ollas are traditional Native American water jars or storage vessels from Kewa Pueblo (formerly Santo Domingo Pueblo), located between Santa Fe and Albuquerque, New Mexico. 

These ollas are typically hand-coiled from local buff-colored clay valued for its elasticity, which allows large, sturdy forms such as storage jars, dough bowls, and water jars (ollas).
Cream or off-white slip (often rag-wiped bentonite) covering the body.Bold black geometric design painted with organic pigment (commonly from Rocky Mountain bee plant/guaco), with primary floral motif around body. Red slip on the underbody and  interior neck; black rim; concave base.
