A unique cedar hat with narrow bark strips adorned with feathers and beads and am ermine pelt which is reminiscent of the Potlatch hats which sometimes use ermine pents. This fancy hat is in Excellent condition.
The Makah, a Native American tribe from the northwestern tip of Washington State near Neah Bay, are renowned for their basketry, including the distinctive hat basket.
