The Yakima (also spelled Yakama) Beaded Hide Doll Cradle is a traditional Native American toy or miniature cradleboard from the Yakama people, part of the Plateau region in the Pacific Northwest (Washington state area).  These miniature versions of real cradleboards used historically to carry and protect infants, adapted as dolls for children or as collectible/art pieces.
