Acoma bird pottery is a distinctive handcrafted ceramics produced by artisans of the Acoma Pueblo, a Native American community in New Mexico, USA. Known as "Haak'u" in the Keresan language, Acoma Pueblo is one of the oldest continuously inhabited settlements in North America, perched atop a 367-foot-high sandstone mesa about 60 miles west of Albuquerque. The pottery tradition here dates back over a millennium and embodies the pueblo's deep connection to nature, spirituality, and ancestral techniques.
