Acoma Pueblo pottery, originating from the Acoma Pueblo in New Mexico (often called "Sky City," the oldest continually inhabited community in the United States), is renowned for its delicate, thin-walled ceramics handmade by Native American artisans. These pieces are traditionally hand-coiled from a slate-like clay that allows for exceptionally fine construction, resulting in lightweight yet durable vessels.
