Acoma Pueblo Turtle with a buff clay body and circular pattern on the shell, a long extended neck/head, and a real feather attached to the back with a small wooden stick or tie for decoration. This feather addition gives it a unique, whimsical touch seen in Pueblo animal effigies to evoke birds, flight, or spiritual elements. The overall form is endearing with sturdy arched legs and a serene expression.
