Acoma Pueblo pottery is renowned for its thin-walled construction, fine-line black-on-white designs, and intricate geometric or nature-inspired patterns, often made using traditional hand-coiling and natural clay/pigments from the Acoma area in New Mexico. 

Turtle effigy figurines and vessels are a popular form in Acoma (and other Pueblo) pottery. They symbolize longevity, protection, and the earth in many Native traditions.
