Marie (1949–1997) was an Acoma Pueblo potter from New Mexico. Marie was born into Acoma Pueblo in April 1949, daughter of Lorenzo and Gladys Garcia. Siblings included Lena Garcia Aragon, Geraldine Garcia, Beatrice Garcia, and Alan “Thunder Cloud” Garcia. She married Simon Vallo; their children Kim Vallo, Leland Robert Vallo, and Thomas Vallo are also potters. Her niece is Shawna Garcia-Rustin. She began selling pottery as a teenager and continued nearly until her death in 1997. Like many in her family, she worked in both traditional hand-coiled pottery and greenware.

Buying from more than one category? You only pay the highest rate in your cart, so eight fetishes and a pair of earrings ship together for just $15.

At checkout, choose Oversized – Shipping Invoiced Separately and we'll email your shipping invoice, usually within 24 hours. Contact us for an estimate before you buy.

International

International orders are welcome! We quote international shipping separately and invoice the actual postage after purchase. Contact us beforehand if you'd like an estimate.
