Maria Lilly Salvador (also known as Lilly Maria Salvador, Lilly M. Salvador, or Maria Lilly) is a respected Acoma Pueblo potter born in 1944. She belongs to a prominent pottery family: daughter of Frances Pino Torivio, niece of Lolita Concho, and sister to potters Wanda Aragon and Ruth Paisano. She signs her work with variations like "Aaku, NM", "DZAISRETYAITSA Maria Lilly" and sometimes titles or dates. "Hayete" is a phonetic or variant rendering of her Acoma name/signature element.
