We are assuming this is and earlier work by Cynthia Star Flower Dunlap but the nature of the signature and that this is carved are different from her later works.

Cynthia Star Flower Dunlap (1959-2018) was a daughter of Carmelita Dunlap and a granddaughter of Juanita Montoya Vigil, the youngest sister of Maria Martinez. She was sister to Linda Dunlap, Jennie Dunlap, Carlos Dunlap, and Martha Appleaf Fender.
