Christine "Aggie" Henderson-Poncho (or Aggie Henderson Poncho, 1973–early 2010s) was an award-winning Acoma Pueblo potter known for her hand-coiled clay figurines, storytellers, and small sculptures. She created whimsical polychrome (multi-colored) figurative pieces using traditional Acoma methods: gathering and processing local white clay from the pueblo grounds, forming/coiling by hand, painting with natural slips (e.g., red clay and wild spinach for black), and outdoor firing. Her work often depicts everyday life, families, animals, and cultural scenes, and she was taught by her mother-in-law, the noted potter Marilyn Ray (Henderson).
