Marilyn Ray (also known as Marilyn Henderson Ray or Marilyn Ray Lewis) is a delightful hand-coiled figurative sculptures created by this renowned Acoma Pueblo artist. Born in 1954, she belongs to the Yellow Corn Clan and comes from a multi-generational pottery-making family. She began working with clay around age 12 (starting seriously in 1966) and started creating storyteller figures in 1979.
