Antique Hopi Pueblo wicker tray baskets are plaques or shallow ceremonial meal trays—are a distinct and highly collectible form of Native American art. They are woven exclusively by women from the Third Mesa villages (such as Oraibi, Hotevilla, and Bacavi) on the Hopi Reservation in northeastern Arizona. These vibrant, textured pieces are deeply intertwined with Hopi spirituality, matrilineal customs, and agricultural life.
